Dietitians Association Of Australia Welcomes New President

Australia"s leading nutrition organisation, the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA), has elected Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian, Mrs Julie Dundon as President of the Association. Mrs Dundon has a wealth of dietetic and management experience and has previously served as Vice-President and a Director on the DAA Board. She is the Director of Nutrition Professionals Australia, a nutrition practice based in Adelaide. "I am honoured to be elected President of the DAA. I look forward to the opportunity to continue the efforts of all members to improve nutrition for all Australians. Nutrition underpins our health and DAA will continue to advocate for nutrition at all levels," said Mrs Dundon of her appointment. DAA Chief Executive Officer, Ms Claire Hewat said: "Julie"s wide range of dietetic experience, her previous involvement with DAA, her professionalism and her enthusiasm will be an asset to the Association.
