Indiana Alzheimer Disease Center To Host Showing Of 'The Alzheimer's Project'

The Indiana Alzheimer Disease Center will host a screening of HBO"s "The Alzheimer Project" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 28, in the lower level auditorium of the Riley Outpatient Center, 601 West Drive, on the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis campus. Following the screening, IADC faculty members from the Indiana University School of Medicine will be available to answer questions about Alzheimer disease, current diagnosis, treatment and promising areas of research. The Alzheimer"s Project is a presentation of HBO Documentary Films and the National Institute on Aging at the National Institutes of Health in association with the Alzheimer"s Association, Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, and Geoffrey Beene Gives Back Alzheimer"s Initiative. The series" producer is John Hoffman; the executive producers are Sheila Nevins and Maria Shriver. Indiana University School of Medicine
